MY APPROACH
I’m an interior designer with more than twenty years’ experience creating spaces across retail, hospitality, residential and cruise environments.
My approach has always been rooted in simplicity, proportion and materiality — creating interiors that feel considered rather than over-designed. I’m interested in the way a space makes you feel as much as how it looks: how you move through it, what draws your eye, where you want to stop, and the small details that give a place its character.
Over the years I’ve worked across an unusually broad range of projects, from international retail concepts and flagship stores to hotels, restaurants, private homes and luxury cruise interiors. That variety has shaped the way I design. I don’t believe in imposing a house style; I prefer to understand the story behind a project and develop a clear design language that feels completely specific to it.
Sketching remains an important part of how I think. I tend to work instinctively at the beginning of a project — exploring atmosphere, form, light and movement quickly and loosely before refining those ideas into something disciplined and resolved.
There is a quietness to much of my work. I’m drawn to simple elegance, honest materials and spaces that feel effortless, warm and intuitive. Even on highly commercial projects, I’m always looking for the human experience within the design.
Ultimately, I see interior design as a form of storytelling — taking an idea, a place, a brand or a person and turning it into an environment that feels meaningful, memorable and completely its own.
